Pool Builders Can Now Control PH Levels Easily

Pentair-PH controller

PH control has never been easier thanks to the new Smart pH Water Chemistry Controller. The Smart pH Controller is an automated feature that not only checks the PH level of your pool, but also adds chemicals as needed to help ensure the safety of your pool, pool equipment, and your family. Why is this important? If you are running an IntelliChlor Salt Chlorinator, the production of chlorine causes the PH level of the pool to slowly rise. This is a problem because if the PH is off balance this can and most likely will lead to damaged pool equipment, plaster, and in a worst case scenario may lead to eye, skin, and odor irritation. A big problem if you plan on having any pool parties. Also, if you currently have a pool service checking your chemical levels once a week, The PH level may be correct for two or three days, and than out of balance the other four or five days. So now, instead of having a constant PH level you are now forced to spend even more money for whatever chemicals are needed to restore the PH balance. To help eliminate this frequent occurrence among pool owners, the controller works hand in hand with your IntelliChlor Salt Chlorinator, to help ensure that your PH level stays balanced between chemical checks as chemicals will be dispersed as needed.

Benefits of the PH controller are:

  • Chlorine that is produced by the Salt Chlorinator is more effective.
  • Pool equipment is protected from corrosion when the PH is at the correct levels.
  • A more consistent level of chemicals eliminates the need for expensive Muriatic Acid.

Because it is common for most pools PH level to be unbalanced when using a Salt Chlorinator, by the next visit from your pool service technician the PH may be so off balanced that large amounts of chemicals may be needed coming out of your pocketbook. Finally, the PH controller comes with several safety features that include notifying you when PH is high, low, or at desired PH, a chemical feed to let you know when chemicals are being fed through your system, and lastly a flow sensor that stops the flow of chemicals if water is not detected helping to protect your pool equipment. With these easy to read features, you as a pool owner can feel safe the next time your kids get in the water as you know the PH is right where it needs to be.
