In 1978, Jerry  received his formal training in carpentry from Moorhead Vocational Institute, Moorhead, MN and was hired by Meinecke-Johnson Construction Co. shortly thereafter.  At age 24, he and his partner formed their own residential building company which expanded rapidly, resulting in the formation of their own individual businesses, each successful in their own right. In 1991, Jerry relocated his construction company to the Sacramento, CA area to take advantage of the year round building climate.  There he grew his business locally doing custom homes and remodels, landscaping services, with strictly swimming pools for the last 15 years. The company’s primary projects includes detailed design services and new swimming pool and deck construction.
