They did an absolutely beautiful job with our pool. It's been a year since California Trademark Pools installed this and they have been amazing with their customer service from the beginning of the project until now. They still help us with any questions that come up and are just all-around great to work with. They are licensed, experienced, good listeners, great communicators, and they stuck to the timeline. Need I say more? We found California Trademark Pools while walking around our neighborhood. They were working on 3 other pools in our area, so we had a chance to check out their work before reaching out. We reached out to 3 other pool builders for quotes, and Ryan was the most responsive. He came over, we discussed pool designs, he took pics of the backyard, and he presented different design options depending on our budget like 2 days after our initial meeting. Now that’s 5 star service! After nailing down a design, picking waterline tiles, plaster and pebble, and adding all the bells and whistles, it was time to start construction. Jerry is the kindest and most hardworking man! We would see him in the backyard bright and early every day just digging away. He answered any and all questions with a smile. All of the contractors that came by were very punctual, and they kept their mess to a minimum broke ground on June 30 and we were swimming by September, right on time! Ryan and Jerry exceeded our expectations! We are beyond happy with our pool! Pick this father/son duo for a seamless and reliable team to build your dream pool!

I contacted them to begin the process of getting a quote in May 2022 and Ryan got back to me the same day. (Note that the other 3 companies I contacted never got back to me)
Ryan went to the home before I moved in and took measurements so we could begin the design process. We went back and forth with Ryan for a while before we landed on our dream pool. One thing I loves about working on the design with Ryan was how innovative he is.
He was in touch with the current trends and updated looking pools! No 1980’s looking pools over here. Once the contract was signed, Jerry the owner came by to talk about the plan, spray the pool outline in the yard and help me understand the details of what was about to go down.
This man is the most genuine, honest, nice guy you’ll ever meet, we’ve stated many times he’s part of our family now. He always took the time to explain things to me when I had questions,
I never felt rushed or uninformed and I always felt like he had my best interest in mind with each step of the process. My dig started mid July and I had a completed by October 1st!!!
Once the pool was finished there were a few items left to wrap up and he took care of them quickly and continued to inform me every step of the way. I am so pleased with the way everything turned out, I do not have any complaints at all.

I do not typically write reviews, but I absolutely have to rave about my experience with Jerry Johnson and California Trademark Pools. When we decided to put in a pool, I met with various popular/highly rated pool companies, and while the designs and insight were wonderful, Jerry set himself apart with his genuine, honest, personal demeanor.
Jerry listened to what we wanted, offered his professional opinion, and never tried to up-sell us. When he left, I felt confident he heard our needs/desires and that we would get exactly what we asked for. From the day we signed on, Jerry did everything in his power to ensure questions were answered and any concerns were alleviated. I knew I could call or text him at any time, and he would respond within minutes with a helpful answer and positive attitude (despite the fact I'm more than a little needy when it comes to large scale projects).
Even when we decided to change the size and shape of our Cabo shelf two days before we were scheduled for gunite, Jerry didn't skip a beat. His response was basically "whatever you want", and when I was unsure about what the new dimensions should be, Jerry came to the house on Saturday evening (on his way to dinner with his wife) to set my mind at ease. He was here before sunrise to redo the rebar, and we were able to proceed on schedule. Jerry went out of his way on more than one occasion to ensure our hopes and expectations were met. Putting in a pool can be a stressful experience with countless decisions and variables, but there was never any doubt Jerry always had our best interests at heart. His honesty and professionalism are truly unmatched, especially in this day and age.
On top of that, we began our project in the middle of the wettest winter on record, and somehow Jerry was able to complete the job in six weeks, and we could not happier with the finished product! Jerry's motto is "Quality Construction with Personal Attention", and he definitely lives up to his word. I am often skeptical when dealing with businesses, but from the day we began, I knew Jerry would be there every step of the way and that I could trust him with every decision; having that kind of working relationship is priceless.

In Fall 2009 my wife and I decided to complete our backyard which included a pool, our first ever! We knew it was going to be a challenging project as we lived on a hill and had a shallow, sloping yard that we wanted to reengineer in order to maximize our pool size and extend our usable space.
We researched and talked to quite a few pool contractors; ultimately we selected Jerry Johnson of California Trademark Pools for one key reason; after meeting with him several times and talking through our project, we trusted him to do a great job on our project for a reasonable price.
Our project is now complete and we’re really pleased with how it turned out. I’d strongly recommend Jerry for a number of reasons.
First, Jerry took “hands-on” personal ownership for our project. He was here nearly every day working on the project and ensuring it was done the way he wanted. He’s got tremendous expertise and that gave us a lot of confidence as the project moved along.
Second, Jerry is really easy to work with. We changed our minds several times on design issues as we moved along and Jerry gracefully accommodated all our requests. In one case, he even lowered (an already built!) overhead gazebo that I felt was too high. No big deal. We ended up getting the back yard we wanted and he was flexible enough to help us figure it out along the way.
Third, Jerry really looked out for us throughout the project. He tactfully suggested alternatives if we were thinking about something that wasn’t going to quite look right or make sense, he helped us figure out ways to manage our costs, he honored his original pricing quote even when some extra engineering and structural expenses were necessary. In a nutshell, he was a real partner with us.
